Short explanations of some tools buyers ask about most often.
Produces longitudinal vibration from the drilling fluid flow. It reduces friction between the drill string and the borehole, improves weight transfer to the bit and reduces torsional vibration, which helps hold the toolface steady and raises ROP in horizontal and extended-reach wells.
A sleeve with five blades dressed with aggressive tungsten carbide hardfacing. It reams out key seats on the way out of the hole (single-clutch type) or in and out of the hole (double-clutch type).
Removes cement, sand, residual bullets, scratches, paraffin, burrs and other attachments from the casing wall, so downhole tools run freely and the casing is kept clean. A casing brusher then removes the residual attachments left after scraping.
A simple gauge used to check that the inside diameter of casing, tubing, drill pipe and other pipe meets the standard, and to find the maximum diameter that can be drifted after deformation. It is a necessary tool in workover.
Most ordering problems come from a mismatch in connection, size or service conditions.

Gasify Middle East Trading LLC is a UAE-based industrial supplier that now also sources oil and gas drilling, completion, intervention and production tools. From offices in Abu Dhabi and Dubai we support drilling contractors, well service companies, EPC contractors and operators with drill string components, downhole tools, fishing tools and completion equipment.
Our tools range covers drill pipe, heavy weight drill pipe and drill collars, rotary kellies and subs, stabilizers, reamers and hole openers, downhole motors and oscillators, drilling jars and shock absorbers, overshots, spears, mills and junk retrieval tools, casing scrapers, brushers and drifts, float equipment, packers and bridge plugs, sliding sleeves, gravel pack systems, safety valves, artificial lift and flow control devices, and hydraulic bucking equipment.
Drilling programmes in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC often reference operator specifications, approved manufacturer lists and inspection requirements. Gasify reviews these requirements against the tools you need, coordinates the documentation called for by the order, and supports the RFQ from technical clarification to delivery. Approval status is never assumed. Requirements are confirmed against each project's documents.
Normal drill pipe, heavy weight drill pipe and standard, spiral and non-magnetic drill collars are sourced to API 5DP and API 7-1, with the thread connection, hardbanding and special features your well programme needs, such as spiral grooving, stress relief grooves, bore back boxes and slip and elevator recesses.
Hydraulic, mechanical and high-temperature drilling jars, jar intensifiers, bumper subs and shock absorbers, mud motors for directional drilling, and oscillators that improve weight transfer in horizontal and extended-reach wells are available on enquiry.
Series 150, Series 10 and 20 and Series 70 overshots, spears, die collars, junk and taper mills, section mills, junk baskets, magnets and impression blocks, together with rotating and non-rotating casing scrapers, casing brushers, key seat wipers and drifts, cover fishing, clean-out and workover operations.
Float shoes and collars, reaming and drilling shoes, casing hangers and sealing rings, packers and bridge plugs, sliding sleeves, gravel pack systems and downhole safety valves prepare the well for production.
Well projects rarely need tools alone. Gasify can consolidate drilling and production tools with steel pipes, industrial valves, fittings, flanges and instrumentation in a single package, with phased deliveries to the UAE, GCC, Middle East, Africa and South Asia. Explore how we work on our project supply page or read about oil and gas supply.
Gasify sources oil and gas drilling, completion, intervention and production tools from established manufacturers and supports procurement from the UAE. Availability depends on tool type, size, connection and quantity, so lead times and stock are confirmed for each RFQ.
Gasify supports procurement against project material requisitions and client specifications, including ADNOC and Saudi Aramco requirements where the project calls for them. Approved manufacturer and vendor list requirements are reviewed for each project. Gasify does not represent an approval status unless it is formally documented.
The range covers drill pipe, HWDP and drill collars, kellies and subs, bits, stabilizers and reamers, downhole motors and oscillators, drilling jars, fishing tools, casing scrapers and drifts, float equipment, packers and completion tools, intervention and production tools, downhole valves and hydraulic bucking equipment.
HWDP is an intermediate-weight drill stem component used with drill pipe and drill collars. It gives a gradual transition in stiffness between the heavy drill collars and the lighter drill pipe, and it reduces connection fatigue.
Standard drill collars are plain heavy tubulars. Spiral collars have grooves that cut the contact area and the risk of differential sticking. Non-magnetic collars are made from non-magnetic stainless steel so magnetic survey instruments give accurate readings, and they come in slick, flex and spiral forms.
A drilling jar delivers a sudden impact blow to free a stuck string. An oscillator creates a longitudinal vibration through the drilling fluid, which reduces friction and improves weight transfer to the bit in horizontal and extended-reach wells. They solve different problems and are not substitutes.
An overshot is an external catch tool that grips the outside of the fish. A spear is an internal catch tool that grips the inside of it. The choice depends on the fish dimensions and the condition of its top, and an impression block can show that condition.
A casing scraper removes cement, sand, residual bullets, scratches, paraffin, burrs and other deposits from the inner wall of the casing so downhole tools can run and packers can seal. Rotating, non-rotating, single-diameter, dual-diameter and thru-tubing types are available.
A drift is a gauge run through casing, tubing, drill pipe and other pipe to check that the inside diameter meets the standard, and to find the maximum diameter that can pass after deformation. It is standard practice before running pipe, and in workover.
A saver sub sits between the kelly and the drill string. Joints are made and broken at the saver sub, so the thread wear moves from the expensive kelly to a cheaper expendable sub.
Tools can be sourced to API specifications such as 7-1, 7-2, 5DP and 11D1 where the project requires them, with EN 10204 3.1 material certificates, inspection and test records, and the data book. Licensing and monogram requirements are confirmed with the manufacturer for each order.
Send your tool list or datasheet with tool type, size, thread connection, material or grade, service conditions (temperature, pressure, H₂S), quantity, required certificates and delivery location. The procurement team reviews the requirement and responds with a quotation.
