About the Role
Gasify Middle East is seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer with a strong background in the Oil & Gas trading industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, procurement, supplier management, and timely delivery of industrial products including pipes, fittings, flanges, valves, plates, and related materials for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy, and Industrial projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an Oil & Gas trading company.
- Strong knowledge of industrial procurement processes.
- Experience sourcing pipes, fittings, flanges, valves, plates, fasteners, and related products.
- Ability to negotiate with suppliers and manage vendor relationships.
- Familiarity with international standards such as ASTM, ASME, API, DIN, and EN.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- UAE experience preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Source materials from local and international suppliers.
- Evaluate supplier quotations and negotiate pricing.
- Prepare RFQs, purchase orders, and procurement documentation.
- Coordinate with sales, logistics, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain approved vendor databases and supplier performance records.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and client requirements.
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply chain risks.
